The Lucarella Family’s handmade Eggplant spread was created thanks to a typical Apulian tradition, the union of eggplant polp, white vinegar, herbs, salt and extra virgin olive oil.
The spreadable pastes are soft with a full consistency, made with ingredients 100% Italian making them a temptation difficult to resist.
These products enrich bread and toast, create snacks and appetizers, can be used to prepare bruschetta and to stuff meats fish and cheeses.
The Aubergine (Eggplant) Spread is ideal on toast or with cheese on toast, as a stuffing for savoury pies using puff pastry and as a sauce with grilled or sautè vegetables.
Recommended recipe: a slice of hot bread with Aubergine spread, pine nuts and fresh mint leaves.
