Florido Extra Virgin Olive Oil is made from green and black olives harvested at mid-ripening on the hills of Martina Franca. Milling takes place cold, within a few hours of harvesting, to preserve aromas, polyphenols and nutritional properties intact and deliver a fresh, genuine extra virgin olive oil with a balanced aromatic profile.

This expression indicates that harvesting takes place at the exact moment of veraison, which is when the olives on the tree are changing colour from unripe green to mature purplish. What is the difference between Florido and Mosto or Vivace oils?
While Mosto is an unfiltered product and Vivace has a distinctly bitter and pungent profile due to early harvesting, Florido is designed to be the everyday oil par excellence. How should I store Florido Oil to keep its freshness intact?

It should be stored in a pantry or a cool place (between 14°C and 18°C), strictly away from the stove, heat sources, and direct sunlight.

Although its fresh olive and aromatic herb aroma is best enjoyed raw on salads, bruschetta, and grilled vegetables, its rich monounsaturated fatty acid composition ensures a high smoke point.
